For the second year in a row, HŠK Zrinjski, in collaboration with the Transfusion Center of the University Clinical Hospital Mostar, organized a voluntary blood donation campaign to mark World Blood Donor Day.
Considering that blood donation is a privilege, all donors were first and foremost awarded one of the most humane titles – voluntary blood donor. We are happy to have had the opportunity to reward the donors with an HŠK Zrinjski fan t-shirt designed to commemorate winning the BiH Cup for the 2023/2024 season.
“As much as the support of our fans is important to us, so is our responsibility towards the community, which is why we are always happy to participate in such and similar actions. We thank the Transfusion Center of SKB Mostar and Head Dr. Jadranka Knežević for allowing us to contribute in this way for the second year in a row to mark World Blood Donor Day, and of course, we are most grateful to all the donors,” said HŠK Zrinjski President Denis Lasić.
Our players Goran Karačić and Igor Savić also supported the campaign.
The goal of marking World Blood Donor Day is to raise global awareness of the need for sufficient and safe blood and blood products for transfusion to people whose lives are saved by donated blood.
