HŠK Zrinjski Mostar can confirm the signing of Leo Mikić, a 28-year-old winger who joins our club as a free agent after spending the past eighteen months with Austrian side SC Austria Lustenau.
The reigning champions and the Croatian footballer, born in Požega, have agreed on a one-year deal with an option to extend the contract until the summer of 2027.
Mikić spent his youth career at the GNK Dinamo football academy and began his senior career with Croatian lower-league side NK Slavija Pleternica.
He then chose to continue his career in Austria, quickly making a name for himself at second-division side Kapfenberger SV before moving up to the Austrian Bundesliga with SV Ried, where he made 66 official appearances and scored ten goals over two seasons.
In 2023, he moved from Austria to South Korea, signing for Jeonnam Dragons, before returning to Austria and joining the club from which he now arrives at Zrinjski.
