Josip Ćorluka has today signed a new contract, extending his loyalty to the Nobles until the summer of 2027!
With this signature, HŠK Zrinjski Mostar aims to confirm its clear desire for the 29-year-old defender to continue his career wearing the team’s colors. However, to provide accurate information to the public and avoid speculation, we also want to confirm that the signed contract includes the possibility for Ćorluka to leave Zrinjski as a free agent by June 22nd in the event of an offer from abroad.
Ćorluka has been a player of Zrinjski for four and a half years, accumulating 154 official appearances, seven goals, and 27 assists. During his time with us, he has secured two league titles, two Cups, and the “Filip Šunjić – Pipa” Trophy for the 2021/2022 season.
He joined Zrinjski during the winter transfer window of the interrupted 2019/2020 season. His official debut came on March 4, 2020, in a Cup match against FK Tuzla City (2-1), where he immediately scored. In the current season, he has featured in 48 matches.
Ćorluka began his career at HNK Grude and gained recognition as a player for Široki Brijeg, where he played from 2014 to 2019. Before coming to Mostar, he spent six months playing for the Slovenian top-tier club NK Domžale.
We hope to see Ćorluka wearing the Zrinjski jersey for many more years to come!
