HŠK Zrinjski Mostar is once again compelled to respond with an official statement following the match between HŠK Zrinjski and FK Velež (1:0), prompted by today’s reaction from FK Velež Mostar containing a series of untrue but also dangerous accusations towards our Club.
In this statement, we will only address the dangerous accusations made by FK Velež in their statement, as we find it shocking, disappointing, and saddening to declare that it is, I quote: “Senseless to deceive the public that the mentioned group did not intend to attack our players, coaches, and other Velež staff”.
Namely, we want to clearly emphasize that at no point were the players, coaches, and staff of FK Velež endangered or subjected to any attack, which is certainly confirmed by the reports of the official persons from the mentioned match!
In our statement yesterday, HŠK Zrinjski called for reason and peace, as we are aware that any other behavior can have far-reaching consequences, and making such untrue, unfounded, and above all dangerous accusations is exactly the opposite of calling for reason, peace, and tension reduction, all for reasons known only to FK Velež.
