Our deficit behind the leading team, Borac, is now reduced to seven points again, and we’ve narrowed the gap with the leader with today’s triumph against Igman (5:0).
After a slow start to the game, Željko Petrović’s team took the lead with a goal from Tomislav Kiš in the 29th minute – Nemanja Bilbija provided the assist. We then scored three more goals before halftime through Mario Tičinović (32nd minute), Bilbija from a penalty kick (36th minute), and Matija Malekinušić, who scored with a header after another assist from Bilbija.
The pace of the game slowed down somewhat in the second half, but we still created several chances that we couldn’t convert into goals. The visitors’ net was only shaken again in the 78th minute when Hrvoje Barišić scored after a corner kick.
The Plemići now turn their attention to the Cup match against Jedinstvo in Bihać, while our quest for points continues next Saturday with an away game against Sloga in Modriča.
