Zrinjski Defeats Borac with Nemanja Bilbija’s Goal to Win the BiH Supercup!

Zrinjski Adds Another Trophy – First-Ever BiH Supercup Secured!

The trophy room of HŠK Zrinjski is richer by one more title tonight!

The Nobles triumphed over Borac (1:0) at Zenica’s Bilino Polje, claiming their first-ever BiH Supercup in the club’s history.

In this clash between the winners of the WWin League and the Bosnian Cup from the 2023/2024 season, the current league leaders showed more on the pitch and deservedly secured the club’s twelfth official trophy.

The first half offered few chances, with the best opportunities for Zrinjski falling to Matija Malekinušić and Nardin Mulahusejnović. However, Zrinjski’s stronger second-half display was finally rewarded in the 78th minute when Nemanja Bilbija, just three minutes after coming on, connected with a perfect cross from Petar Mamić to score the decisive goal in trademark fashion.

Bilbija came close to a second shortly after, while Tomislav Kiš and Fran Topić also had late chances to seal the game. Borac’s best moment came through Đorđe Despotović, but his header was denied by a brilliant save from Goran Karačić.

Mario Ivanković and his team won’t have much time to rest, as they now turn their focus to Sunday’s match against Igman—where a win could seal Zrinjski’s ninth national championship title.
