Zrinjski will continue the battle for points with a home match against Sloga tomorrow.
This match is the first of three postponed fixtures originally scheduled for the first round of the competition calendar, with the remaining two home games against Radnik and Sarajevo still to come.
Sloga has played three league matches this season, suffering a home defeat to Sarajevo (1:3) and recording two away draws against Posušje (1:1) and Željezničar (1:1).
The experienced Vlado Jagodić remains at the helm of Sloga, and his team underwent minimal changes during the summer transfer window. Notable departures include Ajdin Redžić and Nikola Dujaković, while the squad has been bolstered by the addition of several experienced players: goalkeeper Bojan Pavlović joined from Borac, Toni Jović returned from Uzbekistan, Stefan Milosavljević last played for North Macedonia’s Sileks, and Dejan Milosavljević came from Serbia’s Jedinstvo.
Compared to the previous home match against Posušje (1:0), coach Mario Ivanković will have three new players available: Alen Jurilj, Ilija Mašić, and Marijan Ćavar, who joined in the final stages of the transfer window.
Interestingly, tomorrow’s match presents an opportunity to achieve the fourteenth consecutive victory in the league, which would equal the record set during the 2021/2022 season under coach Sergej Jakirović.
