The Nobles Open New Season with Away Match in Gabela

Following three European fixtures against Bravo (0:1, 3:1) and Botev (1:2), Zrinjski will open the new season in the WWin BiH League with an away match in Gabela.

The home match against Sloga, originally scheduled for Monday, will be played at a later date, so the team will seek their first points at the Perica Pero Pavlović Stadium against GOŠK.

The 2024/2025 season in the WWin BiH League will be the last in the format with 12 clubs and the first in which VAR technology will be used, something the team became familiar with during fourteen European matches last season.

Zrinjski enters the new season as the record eight-time BiH champion, aiming to reclaim the title in Mostar after finishing second last season, just two points behind Borac.

The previous season ended with eleven consecutive league victories, so the team will look to continue that streak in Gabela before their upcoming European challenge, with the return leg against Botev scheduled for Thursday at 20:00.

Referees

The main referee for tomorrow’s match will be Darko Gedžić (Brčko), assisted by Jure Musa (A1, Mostar), Boris Dujmović (A2, Mostar), and Mario Pejić (4th official, Mostar). The VAR referees will be Antoni Bandić (Grude) and Admir Musić (Sarajevo).

Head To Head

In the previous season, we secured three confident victories against GOŠK with scores of 3:1, 5:1, and 4:1. In the top tier of Bosnian football, we played a total of twelve matches, achieving ten wins, one draw, and one loss.
