With the conclusion of the first round of the spring season, our deficit behind the leading team, Borac, has increased to nine points. We continue our pursuit of the leader with a home match against the club from Konjic.
Igman comes to Mostar as the second-to-last team in the standings, with two losses at the start of the second half of the season. Edis Mulalić’s players were first defeated in the round of 16 of the Bosnia and Herzegovina Cup in an away match against Sloga (0:1), followed by a more unpleasant league defeat in Konjic against GOŠK (1:2).
Our Sunday opponent has suffered seven losses in nine away games this season, with only one victory (against Zvijezda 4:3) and one draw (against Velež 1:1). In the four matches against Zrinjski, they have experienced the same number of defeats. Last season, we celebrated victories of 4:0 (in Mostar), 3:0 (in Konjic), and 2:1 (in Čitluk), while in the first half of the current season, we secured an away victory of 2:0 with two goals from Tomislav Kiš.
The match in Mostar is scheduled for tomorrow at 3 p.m., with Mateo Musa from Čitluk as the main referee. Željko Petrović will certainly be without the injured Silvio Ilinković.
