Victory against Željezničar before the start of the new season

In the final test before the European debut in seven days, we won 1-0 at home against FK Željezničar this evening. Mario Ivanković’s team started the match well and missed several chances right from the beginning. We scored the only goal midway through the first half when Toni Šunjić headed the ball into the net.

Before the end of the first half, Tomislav Kiš had a good opportunity, but the score remained unchanged. In the second half, there were not many clear chances as the play was mostly between the two penalty areas. The best opportunity towards the end of the match fell to young David Čamber, whose shot narrowly missed the goal. The coaching staff used 22 players in this match as well, with Antonio Ivančić staying on the field the longest.
