Play-off: Zrinjski vs. Vitória SC tonight

Vitória SC is the final obstacle for Zrinjski in their quest for a new spot in the UEFA Conference League group stage. The first leg of the play-off is scheduled for today at 18:45 (17:45 local time) at the Dom Afonso Henriques stadium in Guimarães.

Zrinjski reached the play-off by eliminating Slovenian Bravo (0:1, 3:1) and Bulgarian Botev (1:2, 2:0), while the Portuguese side secured their place in the final round of qualifiers with four wins against Maltese Floriana (1:0, 4:0) and Swiss Zürich (3:0, 2:0).

This is Zrinjski’s third consecutive season reaching the play-off for a UEFA competition group stage. Two years ago, they were stopped by Slovak Slovan (1:0, 1:2), who advanced after a dramatic penalty shootout in Bratislava. Last season, they played the play-off for the UEFA Europa League against Austrian LASK (1:2, 1:1) with a guaranteed spot in the UEFA Conference League group stage.

HŠK Zrinjski and Arena Sport TV are working intensively to ensure the broadcast with the TV rights holder in Portugal.

The return leg in Mostar is scheduled for Thursday, August 29, at 20:00.
