In yesterday’s triumph against Borac (1:0) in the first leg of the Bosnia and Herzegovina Cup semi-final, our captain Nemanja Bilbija made his 257th official appearance wearing the HŠK Zrinjski jersey, thus equalling the record held by Pero Stojkić!
Unfortunately, despite the victory and the appearance that tied him with Stojkić at the top of the all-time appearances list, Bilbija will not remember the win against Borac fondly as he had to leave the game due to an injury midway through the second half.
It was a knee injury, and the extent of it will only be known after a detailed diagnostic examination, which is why Bilbija underwent an MRI scan at the Vitalis Polyclinic early this morning.
