In the final home match of the season, Zrinjski’s footballers will host FK Tuzla City on Monday, with the game starting at 5 PM.

The Plemići enter the penultimate league round in second place, five points behind the leading Borac. While they still have a chance to defend their championship title, they are aware that the odds of claiming the new title are not very high.

In the last round, Zrinjski secured a 4-1 victory as guests against NK GOŠK, continuing their excellent winning streak in the league, marking their ninth consecutive triumph in Gabela.

On the other hand, our next opponent is in a nearly hopeless situation regarding their chances of staying in the top tier of the WWin League BiH.

With just two rounds remaining, Tuzla City has only 27 points, five fewer than GOŠK, the first team above the relegation line.

Tuzla City was already in a dangerous zone after the first half of the season, but poor results in the continuation of the league worsened their position. In thirteen spring rounds, they have collected only eight points, the fewest among all twelve clubs.

Before the match, Hrvoje Barišić will be presented with a jersey bearing the number 200, as he became the sixth member of the Club 200 during the first leg of the Cup final against Borac. Additionally, the Ultras – Zrinjski fan club will traditionally award the “Filip Šunjić – Pipa” Trophy to the player who has shown the most dedication, behavior on the field, and connection with the fans throughout the current season.

Monday’s match will be our 22nd encounter against FK Tuzla City, where we will be aiming for our sixteenth victory. The history of our meetings began in 2017 with an away defeat in the Cup. In the current season, we have celebrated victories in both league matches – first with a 4-2 win at Tušanj with goals from Ćuže, Bilbija, Ramić, and Kiš, and then a 3-1 triumph in Mostar with goals from Bilbija, Ćuže, and Prskalo.

The main referee for the match between HŠK Zrinjski and FK Tuzla City will be Darko Gedžić from Brčko, assisted by Emir Zahiragić from Sarajevo and Perica Maskaljević from Donja Mahala. Gedžić has officiated seven matches for us in the past, all of which we have won. In the current season, he officiated our home victories against Željezničar (2-1, 2-0) and Velež (3-0), as well as our away win against Široki Brijeg (2-0).
