HŠK Zrinjski Mostar cadets are the new champions of Bosnia and Herzegovina!
Dubravko Orlović and his players won against their direct competitor, FK Sarajevo, (3:1) on the auxiliary field of the HŠK Zrinjski stadium today, securing a seven-point lead over their closest rival with one round remaining.
The U-17 team of Sarajevo, led by former Zrinjski players Danijel Stojanović, Milan Muminović, and Ratko Dujković, took the lead today with a goal by Emir Omerkić (17′), but the turnaround was created by Ante Pokrajčić (51′), Antonio Arapović (70′), and Ante Spajić (85′).
The new champions of Bosnia and Herzegovina were also the best two years ago, but in the pioneer category.
It was clear from the start of the season that they could win the title this year as well, considering that the young Plemići began the championship race with seven victories. They secured the title with 23 wins, four draws, and four losses.
The cadets will receive the trophy for winning the championship in the last round at Grbavica after the match against Željezničar.
