Zrinjski maintained a perfect record even after the ninth match in the final round of the championship, securing another victory tonight away at Gabela, where we defeated GOŠK with a score of 4-1.

With this win, we remain five points behind the leading team, Borac. Although our chances of defending the title with two rounds remaining are not significant, Željko Petrović’s team has confirmed its determination not to give up.

Despite being the dominant side in the first half, the first 45 minutes ended goalless. However, spectators witnessed five goals in the second half.

Mario Ćuže opened the scoring in the 49th minute, followed by another goal just two minutes later, courtesy of Besart Abdurahimi’s assist. The outcome was sealed in the 61st minute when Tomislav Kiš found the net from outside the penalty area after an assist from Josip Jukić.

GOŠK managed to reduce the deficit in the 65th minute through Josip Miličević’s goal. However, the final scoreline of 4-1 was set in the 90th minute by Jukić, who headed home another assist from Abdurahimi.

In our last home game of the season, we will host FK Tuzla City in the next round before facing Borac in the return leg of the Bosnia and Herzegovina Cup final in Banja Luka.
