HŠK Zrinjski Mostar is the winner of the Bosnia and Herzegovina Cup for the 2023/2024 season!
For the second consecutive season, the Nobles have won the Bosnia and Herzegovina Cup, securing the title by defeating FK Borac 1-0 in the return match.
Following a narrow victory in Mostar, Željko Petrović’s team celebrated in Banja Luka with a goal from Matija Malekinušić, who scored brilliantly in the 81st minute after an assist from Filip Bradarić.
By winning this new trophy, Zrinjski achieved their third triumph in this competition, and interestingly, they defended the title without conceding a single goal.
The streak began with an autumn triumph against Čelik (6-0), continued with a victory against Slavija (3-0) at the start of the second part of the season, followed by wins in two matches against Jedinstvo (1-0, 2-0) in the quarterfinals, Sloga (0-0, 3-0) in the semifinals, and Borac in the final (1-0, 1-0).
Thus, Zrinjski concluded a historic season in a brilliant way, with the final act being a league match away to Igman on Sunday.
