He was born in Sarajevo in 1960 and was appointed by FIFA to the Normalization Committee of the Football Association of Bosnia and Herzegovina in 2011 as a long-time sports official.
He served as the president of the Football Association of Bosnia and Herzegovina from 2012 to 2020.
