Every year on June 14th, World Blood Donor Day is celebrated worldwide, and we are delighted to announce that in collaboration with the Transfusion Center of the University Clinical Hospital Mostar, we have decided to observe this day by organizing a voluntary blood donation drive. The event will take place on Friday from 7:30 AM to 2:30 PM at the premises of the Transfusion Center of UCH Mostar.
The goal of World Blood Donor Day is to raise global awareness about the need for adequate, safe blood and blood products for transfusion to save lives.
Donating blood is a privilege, as only a healthy person can donate! Let’s not allow patients to wait for blood; let the blood wait for the patients. Therefore, let’s all become blood donors!
All donors will be honored with one of the most humane titles – voluntary blood donor – and will also receive a supporter’s T-shirt from HŠK Zrinjski, designed to commemorate winning the BiH Cup for the 2023/2024 season.
