In yesterday’s triumph against Željezničar (2-0), our winger Matija Malekinušić marked his milestone 100th appearance wearing the HŠK Zrinjski jersey.
Malekinušić joined the ranks of the Nobles in the summer transfer window of 2021. He made his official debut in the first match of the season against Široki Brijeg (0-0). Throughout his tenure, he has contributed eleven goals and ten assists, aiding in securing two league titles, one cup, and qualification for the group stage of the UEFA Conference League.
The official record holder for the number of appearances is Pero Stojkić (257), followed by Nemanja Bilbija (247) and Slobodan Jakovljević (245). From the current squad, other members of the “Club 100” include Hrvoje Barišić (190), Josip Ćorluka (140), Damir Zlomislić (138), and Mario Tičinović (117).
