HŠK Zrinjski Mostar Proudly Announces: Antonio Ivančić Extends Contract Until 2027!
HŠK Zrinjski Mostar is delighted to confirm that Antonio Ivančić has extended his commitment to the club by signing a new contract that will keep him with the Nobles until the summer of 2027.
The midfielder, who celebrates his 30th birthday tomorrow, joined Zrinjski in January 2023 and has established himself as a key member of the first team since making his official debut on February 19, 2023, in a Bosnian Cup victory over Laktaši (4:0).
In the recent league match against Posušje (2:1), Ivančić scored his tenth goal in the Zrinjski shirt – arguably his most important yet, as it brought the club closer to securing its ninth national championship title. He also marked a personal milestone in the Supercup triumph over Borac (1:0), registering his 100th appearance for the Nobles.
“From my first day at Zrinjski, I’ve felt great in Mostar. The club, the city, and the fans welcomed me in the best possible way, and I’m very grateful for that. My joy in wearing this shirt is even greater thanks to all the success we’ve achieved—and I’m confident we’ll achieve even more. The motivation is still strong, and the goals remain the same: to fight for trophies and represent Zrinjski in the best possible way,” said Ivančić after signing the new contract.
In his debut season, Ivančić made history as part of the squad that secured Zrinjski’s first-ever domestic double. The following season, he helped the club qualify for the group stage of the UEFA Europa Conference League and defend the Cup title. Now, he’s convinced that his third season will be just as successful.
“We’ve already won the Supercup, which was one of our goals this season, but everyone knows which trophy we want the most. We’re one step away from winning the league title, and we’re going for it,” added Ivančić.
Antonio, congratulations! We wish you many more victories, achievements, and trophies in the Nobles’ jersey!
