Zrinjski has successfully navigated their third derby in a row!
After the triumph at Grbavica against Željezničar (2:0) and then the victory against Široki Brijeg (3:0) in Mostar, the Nobles celebrated in the city derby against Velež (1:0) tonight.
The team led by Mario Ivanković secured their sixth league victory in seven matches with a new goal from Nardin Mulahusejnović, who scored with a header in the 31st minute following a cross from Mario Tičinović.
This derby will certainly be remembered for the heavy rain, which was definitely an opponent to quality play, leading to a cautious approach from both sides. Zrinjski patiently awaited their chance to score, which came midway through the first half, and then they managed the game in the second half to secure three more points.
