HŠK Zrinjski Mostar and Ballkani FC have agreed on the transfer of 24-year-old Marsel Ismajlgeci. The Albanian defender will sign a permanent contract with the Kosovan champions after spending a year on loan there.
Ismajlgeci joined Zrinjski during the winter transfer window in 2023 from Tirana and contributed to winning the double crown with ten appearances. At the start of the previous season, he went on loan to the Kosovan club, with whom he also won a double crown last season.
In addition to Ismajlgeci, two other players who spent the spring part of the season on loan have officially left Zrinjski—Luka Marin and Ivica Batarelo.
Marin spent the spring part of the season with NK Široki Brijeg and leaves the Noblemen after mutually terminating his contract. Batarelo, who played for NK GOŠK in the latter part of the season, became a free agent after the club activated the option to terminate his contract, which was set to last until 2025.
We wish Marsel, Luka, and Ivica much luck and success in their future endeavors.
