David Čamber, the 19-year-old winger who began preparations with the Nobles yesterday, has officially signed a three-year contract with Zrinjski today. He returns to our ranks after we reached an agreement on a transfer with HNK Rijeka.
Čamber signed his first professional contract with Zrinjski in February 2021, becoming the youngest professional in the history of our club. During the summer transfer window of the same year, he transferred to Venezia FC.
He played for the youth teams of the Italian club for two seasons before continuing his career with Rijeka at the start of the previous season.
“I return to Zrinjski full of motivation and a desire to prove myself. This is my first senior season, and I am grateful to Zrinjski for the trust they have shown in me. I am aware of the strong competition because Zrinjski is a club that fights for the highest goals every season. It is up to me to work hard in every training session and to take advantage of every opportunity I get,” said Čamber.
