Ahead of today’s match against FK Tuzla City, the “Ultras – Zrinjski” fan club awarded the “Filip Šunjić – Pipa” trophy for the 23rd time, and this valuable recognition for the 2023/2024 season went to goalkeeper Marko Marić!
According to tradition, the “Ultras-Zrinjski” fan club awards an individual in the last home game of the season who has distinguished himself with dedication to achieving the best possible results, but above all, with relentless fighting spirit and a correct attitude towards the HŠK Zrinjski jersey, aware of its importance to the club’s fans. Marić thus became the third goalkeeper, after Ivica Matas and Igor Melher, to receive the “Filip Šunjić – Pipa” trophy.
Marić joined the Plemići in the winter transfer window of 2023, and in the current season, he has been one of Zrinjski’s most consistent players, making 45 appearances in all competitions.
