WWin BiH League: Zrinjski Concludes Autumn Campaign with Defeat in Bijeljina

Unfortunately, we did not conclude the autumn part of the season in the way we had hoped.

The Nobles suffered their first defeat of the season today in Bijeljina, bringing an end to our record 27-match unbeaten streak in the WWin BiH League.

Radnik secured a 2:0 victory, with goals from Mirzad Mehanović in the first half and Danilo Teodorović in the second, once again proving that the City Stadium in Bijeljina remains a difficult venue for Zrinjski.

Mario Ivanković’s team did not show its true face today, and the poor pitch conditions made our task even harder.

In the first half, our best chances came through Nardin Mulahusejnović and Hrvoje Barišić, but the hosts took the lead in the 17th minute after a well-executed move finished by Mirzad Mehanović.

The second half did not bring the desired comeback, and matters worsened in the 59th minute when Radnik doubled their lead through Danilo Teodorović, sealing the final 2:0 scoreline.
