UEFA Conference League: NK Bravo is coming to Mostar

Our opponent in the second round of qualifications for the UEFA Conference League will be NK Bravo, a representative from Slovenia who eliminated the Welsh Connah’s Quay Nomads FC in the first round of qualifications.

The first match is scheduled for July 25th at 9 PM in Mostar, with the return leg taking place seven days later at the Športni Park stadium in Ljubljana.

Bravo traveled to Wales with a minimal loss from the first match but managed to secure a victory and advance to the second round in Bangor. Nemanja Jakšić scored the goal for extra time in the 88th minute, and Matej Poplatnik secured the advancement in the 115th minute.

This season marks Bravo’s first appearance on the international stage, earning their place in Europe thanks to finishing fourth in the Slovenian league. They qualified because the Slovenian Cup winner NK Rogaška did not receive a license for Europe.

This will be the fourth time in history that we play against a Slovenian club in Europe, having previously faced Maribor twice (2014, 2017) and Olimpija once (2020).
