Tomislav Kiš has signed a new contract today, extending his commitment to Zrinjski until 2026!
Kiš joined the Plemići in the winter transfer window of 2023 and, over the past seventeen months, has made 60 official appearances in the striped jersey, contributing 18 goals and 16 assists.
In his first season with the Plemići, he won a double crown and played a significant role in securing a spot in the group stage of the UEFA Conference League.
“Of course, I am happy about extending the contract. I have felt great in Mostar from day one. I feel the love and respect from the fans, which makes me extremely proud, so there was never any doubt on my part about staying with Zrinjski. Let’s try to finish this season the right way and win the Cup, and then start the new season strong, both in Europe and domestically,” said Kiš after extending his contract.
The 30-year-old from Zagreb began his professional career with Hajduk Split shortly after moving from his hometown of Zagreb to Split at the age of 17.
Hajduk sent him on loan to second-division teams Dugopolje and Gorica, then to Slovenian club Zavrč. After that, Kiš decided to leave Poljud and continued his career in Belgium, where he played for Kortrijk and Cercle Brugge.
From Belgium, he moved to Soligorsk in Belarus, then to Lithuanian side Žalgiris for the first time, where he won two championship titles. He also had a stint in South Korea (Seongnam FC), and his last engagement before joining Zrinjski was with Mezőkövesd in Hungary.
Tomo, congratulations! We wish you many more wonderful moments in the striped jersey!
